COVID-19 CLARIFICATION:

In the current context, detailed registration management is particularly important so that we can guarantee all safety conditions and compliance with the rules of the Directorate-General for Health (DGS). We therefore require everyone’s cooperation. Please register, confirm your attendance and inform us if there are any changes to your registration. If you have registered and cannot participate, please let us know in advance. If you have questions, please call us. At the venue chosen for the annual conference, all hygiene and social distancing rules will be complied with so that we can safely receive speakers and participants. We are following the daily developments related to the pandemic and will update the information whenever necessary.

Covid-19 Safety Plan Rules

At the venue chosen to host our event (Museu do Oriente), safety measures for all speakers and participants are in place, including:

• specific measures for cleaning and sanitising spaces were defined and the frequency of routines was reinforced;
• the HVAC system programming was altered to ensure complete renovation of indoor air;
• specific safety measures have been put in place to be able to deal with participants who may present COVID 19 symptoms;
• the auditorium was prepared to ensure an effective social distance during all sessions;
• we adapted the venue and the catering service in order to follow the strictest safety rules specified by the DGS (General Health Directorate).

Following the guidelines of the General Health Directorate (DGS) and the requirements imposed by the legislation in force at the date of this document, we are able to guarantee that the safety conditions for hosting corporate events are met at the Museu do Oriente, according to the following rules and recommendations:

a) Wearing a protective mask inside the building is mandatory

b) Abide by the respiratory protocol recommended by DGS, including hand sanitisation at the entrance and exit of the building. Museu do Oriente offers hand sanitiser at several key points of the building;

c) Follow and respect the signposting and recommended routes. There will be an entrance and exit door to the Museum, in order to avoid people crossing paths;

d) Prefer stairs to access floors;

e) Abide by the rules and the limitation on the number of people allowed in different spaces, including elevators;

f) Maintain a minimum safety distance of 2 meters, whenever possible and avoiding forming groups;

g) Avoid touching surfaces;

h) Comply with all and any instructions given by Museu do Oriente personnel (security guards, receptionists or the Museum’s person in charge of the event).

Given the very limited number of seats available, we ask that guests only sign up if they are positively sure of the periods they can attend. In case of withdrawal, kindly inform the organisation as soon as possible.
